The most important thing you can do for your AR-15 is keep it clean and well maintained. Keep in mind the tremendous pressures generated by the .223 or 5.56 cartridge and the fact that some of the parts in the AR-15 are susceptible to wear and damage due to just shooting the gun on a regular basis. Therefore, it is important for you to be aware of the basic cleaning and maintenance procedures and also some advanced armorer insight to help keep your AR-15 functioning reliably and able to deliver the accuracy you need.
